What resolution should my artwork be?

Resolution refers to the number of dots per inch (dpi), or the amount of detail the image has. Higher resolution means a more detailed image and also larger file and longer uploads time. For best results with most products, save your artwork to 300 dpi (dots per inch).

How do I gather all of the fonts and links I have in my file?

If you are not sending us a .pdf you should gather the files you’ve used, including fonts and linked graphics, for easy handoff to us.
InDesign you package a file, Choose File > Package.
QuarkXPress choose File > Collect for output.
Publisher choose "Pack and Go."
Other programs select Help for specific information.

How do I compress my files?

After collecting the document with all its links and fonts into one folder it is a good idea to .zip or stuff that folder. With Stuffit and .zip, you’ll not only create and send the smallest archives, but you’ll ensure that the integrity of your data is intact and readable to the recipient it also protects file attribute information for both PC and Mac files.

How to .zip (Windows)

Select the folder you want to .zip > Right Click > Choose Send To > Choose Compressed (zipped) Folder

How to .zip (Mac OSX)

Select the folder you want to .zip > Hold down Control key and click > Choose Create Archive of “project”.
